Services & Pricing

Most sourcing agents in this category hide behind "contact us for a quote." We publish our rates and margins up front, because you should be able to compare us before you ever pick up the phone. No retainer required to get started.

Third-party inspection in China typically runs $250–$320 per man-day. We charge $200, plus travel at cost with original receipts. We are not cheaper because we cut the visit short — we are cheaper because we are two people in Changzhou serving Indian buyers, not a 100-inspector network with a sales office in Hong Kong.

Remote Verification

Progress checks, document review, and communication with the factory or logistics provider — handled remotely. A low-commitment way to get an independent set of eyes on an order without booking an on-site visit.

  • Business licence and registered scope-of-business check — is this actually a manufacturer, or a trading company posing as one?
  • Production-progress checks against the factory's own reports
  • Purchase order, drawing, and specification review
  • Direct communication with the factory or your freight forwarder
  • A written summary of what was checked and what was found
$50
flat fee

Covers one remote verification engagement — no hourly minimum.

Payment: upfront.

On-Site Inspection

Physical factory visits: production-progress checks, acceptance-testing witness, quality and quantity inspection, and geo-tagged, timestamped photo and video documentation — all organized against your order.

  • Quantity count against your purchase order
  • Quality and specification verification against your drawings or approved sample
  • Packaging and workmanship check for export shipping
  • Geo-tagged, timestamped photo and video evidence
  • A written pass/fail report before you release final payment

$200

Travel: a published flat rate by zone (see the table below), or actual receipted cost if lower.

Currently serving: Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, and Anhui. Other regions on request.

Minimum engagement: 1 day. No retainer, no minimum contract term.

Payment: travel in full plus 50% of the day rate on booking; the balance is due when the report is delivered.

You pay the travel in full when you book — we are not going to buy a train ticket to your supplier's factory on speculation — plus half the day rate. The other half is due when the report is in your hand.

That way nobody is exposed to the other. You never pay in full for work you haven't seen. We never spend money we haven't been given. If we do a bad job, what we lose is our own time.

Travel — published by zone

Zone A — Jiangsu & Shanghai$40 / visit day
Zone B — Zhejiang & Anhui$70 / visit day
Zone C — elsewhere in ChinaQuoted before booking, capped at the quote
Overnight stay, where required$60 / night

Whichever is lower — the flat rate or the actual receipted cost. We attach the receipts either way.

PO Guardianship

Ongoing coverage for buyers managing multiple active purchase orders who want one point of contact watching everything — a mix of remote checks and scheduled on-site visits, drawn from the same monthly pool of hours.

  • One named point of contact across all your active orders
  • Remote monitoring plus scheduled factory visits as needed
  • Regular written status updates, not just exception reports
$1,500
per month

80 hours included; overage billed at the $25/hour rate.

On-site visits still carry travel at cost.

Protected Procurement

Tell us what you need and from which manufacturer. The buyer contracts with CXRT, not the factory. CXRT places the order, holds the Chinese-law supply contract, verifies production, and releases the buyer's money to the factory only against verified milestones. Buyer pays CXRT 30% at PO / 40% at verified pre-shipment acceptance / 30% after arrival.

"Work with strong Chinese manufacturers on the payment terms you already give your domestic vendors." This removes a real internal approval blocker for procurement and finance teams — not just a personal risk preference.
Fee-based — covers sourcing, negotiation, inspection, verification, shipping, and the payment risk itself.

How a sourcing engagement runs

Three stages within our wider process — see how it works for the full path, from your first message to your final decision.

Vendor sourcing & quotation

Identifying and shortlisting manufacturers matched to your quantity, quality, and timeline — not just the top listing on a sourcing platform. Delivered as a written, side-by-side comparison of vendors, pricing, MOQ, lead time, and certifications.

Negotiation & order management

Direct price and contract negotiation in Mandarin, bilingual contract drafting support, ongoing progress-report verification, and active follow-up if a vendor delays after payment is received.

On-site factory verification

Independent in-person inspection of quantity, quality, and packaging, with geo-tagged, timestamped photo and video evidence and a written inspection report — ahead of final payment or shipment.

Not sure which one fits?

Tell us about the order and we'll tell you honestly which model makes sense — including if the answer is none of the above.
